Job Description:
Our client is an US MNC and listed in the Nasdaq who produces advanced medical equipment and devices for professional business in the world. In order to cope with their rapid development in the Asian region, they are urgently looking for an Business Solutions IT Manager to join their regional team in HK.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Regional Director, the candidate will lead a team to ensure delivery of quality services to various business units to achieve company goals and objectives.
  
• To identify business opportunities, risks or area of grwoth and the like where technology can help to lead the changes and achieve better performance result.
  
• To improve the infrastructure and application environment in line with business plans for the region.
  
• To formulate long term IT development strategic planning to support business growth and enable corporate initiatives in APAC.
  
• To review and consolidate current system and technical infrastructure, identify needs, problem and risks and provide feasible recommendations and solutions to senior management.
  
• To define the level of IT resources available and required in order to meet defined company objectives, to support long and short term planning within budget and technical capabilities.
  
• Determine and enforce software/hardware system standardization to enhance system support efficiency and minimize operation cost.
  
• Manage IT projects, annual budget, contract administration, SLA, license issue, financial reporting and performance review.
  
• To work closely with different divisions and investigate their needs and to initiate and build specific integrated application for particular business units.
  
• To manage vendor, suppliers or any outsourcing business partners to ensure all projects are carried out effectively and under control.
  
• Ensure correct regulatory documentation is prepared such as SOX or FDA in line with project requirements.
  
• To guide and coach the team and manage their performance that are cope with business goals and direction.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related disciplined. Master level will definitely be an advantage.
  
• Min. of 8 years or above experience in IT infrastructure and application development with solid skill in defining and driving IT strategy.
  
• Have board understanding of computer systems, applications and different languages plus knowledge of best practice and emerging IT trend.
  
• Strong business acumen and commercial sense.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills as able to explain complex IT concepts to non-IT colleague.
  
• Solid project management caliber and able to deal with multi-cultural and multi-level.
  
• A logical and decisive thinker who is able to react in fast pace to dynamic environment.
  
• Self-disciplined, mature and independent plus a strong problem solver.
  
• Some occasional travels in the region are required.
  
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese, Mandarin will be a plus.
