Job Description:
An international European luxurious accessories brand specializing in leather goods and handbags with sourcing base in Asia is looking for a competent and resourceful candidate to fill the following vacancy:

Job Responsibilities:

• Report to Operation Director
  
• Lead a team of 4 Quality Engineers to maintain the quality standard of the purchased material and components i.e. metals & plastics
  
• In accordance with corporate guidelines, identify and recruit new suppliers; cost negotiation and quality evaluation with them
  
• Ensure the suppliers’ quality are in line with corporate standard by setting KPIs for supplier management
  
• Do regular system and process audit on Asian vendors
  
• Set up and maintain quality procedure for part/materials development, qualification, inspection and complaint / deviation handling
  
• Work closely with internal Logistics team and communicate well with headquarters

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder, Master degree holder is preferable
  
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing, quality assurance, material/product development where at least 5 years in managerial level is required
  
• Sound technical knowledge in metal & plastics development, chemical processing
  
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
  
• Assertive but tactful and with strong interpersonal and communication skills working with internal & external parties at all levels
  
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, working knowledge of Mandarin would be required
  
• Frequent travels are required
