Our client is a prestige Bank in Hong Kong. They are looking for high caliber to head their Legal & Compliance department
Job Descriptions:
- Directly Report to CEO
- Lead a team to oversee the Legal & compliance functions of the bank
- Undertake regular and ad-hoc reviews of business operation and practice to ensure compliance with various regulatory and corporate requirements
- Ensuring all compliance related information and publications are distributed to the relevant staff or department and providing trainings on compliance matters
- Conversant with banking ordinance, SFC and other relevant external regulations and requirements
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Law, Accounting, Finance; or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years of Legal & Compliance experience in Banking
- Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills as well as high degree of professional maturity
- Able to lead the legal and compliance department and keep close contact with top management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Chinese and English, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
