Job Description:
Our client, Banking Group in Hong Kong, China & Taiwan, is looking for a seasoned Compliance professional to head their compliance function

Responsibilities:

• Develop and direct the compliance related functions of the Bank
  
• Conduct compliance reviews, and performs ongoing monitoring of procedures, ensuring that regulations and bank policies are adhered to
  
• Monitor business activities and to put in place specific measurements as necessary
  
• Ensure that AML processes and systems meet regulatory requirements and are complied with
  
• Construct, review and revise internal policies and procedures
  
• To contribute in the maintenance and enhancement of a strong compliance culture via contributing in compliance training, assessment of training needs, and keeping related businesses abreast of new internal compliance policies and regulatory updates
  
• To liaise and interact with related regulators, e.g. HKMA and SFC

Requirements:

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Law or related disciplines

Above 5 experience of relevant HK compliance experience in bank or securities firm

Familiar with HK legal and regulatory requirements on banking/ securities brokerage/ anti-money laundering; code of conducts at SFC.

Strong analytical and evaluative skills, attentive to details.

Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; (Putonghua preferable)
